Coriander powder- 1tbsp
Cream fresh - 1 tbsp
Cumin powder -1tsp
Cinnamon stick -1 medium size
Cardomom - 2 no:s
Cloves - 3 No:s
Fenugreek leaves - 1 tbsp powdered
Cumin seeds - 1tsp
Garlic - 5 no:s
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Green Chili - 2 sliced
Red Onion - 1 medium sliced
Spinach - 1 bunch
Red chilli powder -1 tsp
Salt for taste
Tomato - 3 medium diced
Preparation :
Clean and wash spinach and immerse in boiling water for 2 minutes.Mash the spinach in a mixer. Heat oil in a pan.Add Cinnamon stick, cloves and cardomom. Add cumin seeds when its sputter add onions,green chilies and fry till golden brown. Add turmeric,salt and ginger garlic paste. Saute well then add Coriander powder,cumin powder, powdered fenugreek leaves and red chili powder. Now add the mashed spinach (palak) and cook till it ozzes out oil . Cut paneer into pieces(some use fried paneer), add it to the gravy and simmer in for few minutes.Top with little cream .Serve warm with rice or roti.
